Consulting Services

Guident Business Solutions, LLC was formed to help small business owners by consulting, coaching, and creating successful and sustainable businesses long into the future. Our specialty is working with small business owners, that’s all we do!

You got into business because you have a special talent in a specific area that is not in business management. We will work with you so you can gain the business knowledge you need to make the best decisions for the success of your business. You aren’t an accountant or a marketing expert or an operations expert but you still need those talents in your business. You can’t afford to hire one person to do all these jobs so we help you as a resource and advisor in order for you to grow your talents in these areas. Does this sound like you? What are you going to do to change things? We can help!

We offer a variety of services for your business including:

Bookkeeping Services

We start with an evaluation of your current business. In the next step we will work together with you to develop an action plan that addresses your main issues first and then we’ll work towards guiding you to sustained business success through our shared knowledge approach. We take small calculated steps, creating a lasting effect on your business.

You’re the business owner, you are an intricate part of this process and your input is critical to creating the sustainable and measurable changes needed in your organization.

Don’t think you have the time or resources? In reality you can’t afford not to. You cannot do business like you did in the past and expect the future to improve! We can work with you on your timeline and we will hold you accountable.

Business Plans

Business plans are primarily written for two reasons; as a guide to starting and running your business successfully – basically a road map to follow; and second, as a document provided to financial institutions or other investors in order to secure capital financing, which will be necessary for the long-term success of your business.

A good business plan will define your business and identify your goals, among other things. Your plan will consist of the following sections:

  • Mission, Goals & Objectives
  • General Description of the Business
  • Mission Statements
  • Goals and Objectives
  • The Industry
  • Business Structure, Management & Personnel
  • The Products/Services
  • The Market Analysis
  • Marketing Strategies
  • Worksheets and Notes to Cash Flow Projections
  • Cash Flow Projections
  • Financial Statements
  • Appendix Section

Potential lenders are particularly interested in your financial projections since they will show how you intend to repay any loans. They will use the rest of the information in the plan to ensure you can support your financials.

Another very important part of a business plan is answering the question, “What business am I really in?” As silly as this may seem, it’s critical to the success of your business. Without clearly defining exactly what you do, you may end up spending money growing a part of your business that isn’t bringing in any revenue.

Financial Analysis

Do you feel that the financials are written in a foreign language and you just don’t understand them the way you need to? You’re not alone. As a business owner you need good timely information that you understand in order to make the best business decision for your specific business. You need to know how the P/L, cash flow statement, and balance sheets all work together. You love doing the technical jobs within your company and you leave the financials and bookkeeping jobs go to the last minute because you don’t like doing the books, mostly because you don’t fully understand them. What is the answer? Give us a call we can help.

HR Training

Both the rise and/or fall of a business can often be directly attributed to the employees of the company. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just hire the first 2-3 people that walk in the door and they would turn out to be “perfect” employees? While we all know the chances of that are slim, our highly experienced team at Guident Business Solutions can help equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to make good human resources decisions.

Quick Books Training

Whether you’re a new business that’s ready to install Quick Books or a current Quick Books user, our experienced advisors at Guident Business Solutions will teach you how to get the most out of your software. We will install Quick Books and work with you to set-up files and customized user-friendly reporting, specific to your business and industry.

After the initial set-up and training for new business owners and even for “seasoned” Quick Books users, our advisors will teach you how to streamline your daily accounting/bookkeeping processes. Our goal is to be your business partner and help you develop processes and procedures that will help you continue to grow your business, even after we leave.

Our advisors have a thorough knowledge of both Quick Books and accounting principles and are available to assist you even after we have finished teaching you how to use Quick Books – we don’t just disappear, never to be heard from again. Remember – we want to be your partner.
